Sempurna

This song will be continuously played in my head as of 30/01/09

"I would still like to wish everyone, a Happy New Year to all of you. May Allah will always blessed us with the happiness that we all wish for every single day. May our hopes will not ever diminish by our everyday problems. May our faith in each other grow stronger each day even if things pushes us to let go of each other. May all our dreams come true even if our everyday struggle with life keeps us away from our dreams. Amin.."

Went to the Hua Ho Manggis Mall for some window shopping. Bumped into a friendly place that you guys could go to, to buy Exercise and Health Machines. Even tried out the "Fat Burner" and the "Massage Cushion". The saleslady was great as she asked us to tried the machines out. What I liked was she wasn't pushy unlike other salesperson in the business. She was a cheery person as she was her own self as she talked to us. I must say, she even has the personality to be in the business.

the "massage cushion" you can even use it for your head when you're lying down. It felt so good on my back when I tried it out. Perfect for tired people who's working all day sitting down

this treadmill costs a whopping $5,000+!!

you can even weigh in to calculate your BMI to see how much fat is in your body showing how much you have to lose

how it works: shows your weight plus how many percent of it is your fat. Photo is an example

If you're interested, just drop by at Hua Ho Manggis mall located at the 1st floor and look for the lovely saleslady called Edah.

Had a yummy sungkai at Sushi Tei in Gadong today. Been craving for japanese food eversince I watched the Japanese drama "Lunch Queen". Although they didnt have "Omurice" there, it certainly hit the spot *yum* The restaurant has a nice ambience with patrons can enjoy their food in their own booth. The people are also warm and friendly with them greeting you just as you enter the restaurant. You can also enjoy the food upstairs as the restaurant has two floors . They even placed several Japanese dolls along the conveyor belt to give its Japanese appeal. I hope I didnt make you hungry though

My association, BERSATU International held a 'doa selamat' dan 'tahlil' for the 2007 BPYs before they embark for the SSEAYP programme.

Also, it was to commemorate the 6 years anniversary of the tragic accident which happened in SSEAYP 2001. Please take a moment to remember those who lost their lives in the accident. Al-fatihah..

To the new BPYs 2007, good luck and enjoy your new journey for SSEAYP. Take pride and confidence in what you do but please remember:

1) Respect one another and those around you including their culture and religion, EVEN if you do not like them.
2) Always remember where you come from
3) Do not do unto others what you do not want others to do to you
4) Take responsibility in what you do and say
5) Think before saying anything. You cannot take back your words
6) Do not be prejudice
7) Always be there for each other

Last but not least,

YOU are representing Negara Brunei Darussalam, YOUR home, YOUR country.

I hope this SSEAYP experience will open your eyes and you are able to experience change for the better. These words might not mean anything at this time but hopefully these words will come to you during your journey.

the 2007 BPYs with their OBSC representative, Fakhri

Last Saturday, the new batch for the Ship for South East Asia Youth Program 2007 had their national day preview at the Kementerian Kebudayaan Belia dan Sukan. It was very entertaining as majority of their performances are dances and I must say, I'm proud of them. Bring back memories during my days in SSEAYP. I'd post videos of their performance but then, it'd spoil the surprise should any of the 2007 pys found my blog hehe

they look nice and lovely in blue dont they

Congrats to Pepy IPY02 SG-F on her wedding recently. Thank you for the invitation Pepy. Sorry I couldnt go. Wish you and your hubby happiness and prosperity, and may both of you be blessed with continuous love and care for each other. Amin

Was the last day in my section today. Happy to clear all outstanding work with me. Will be starting a new life in a new position starting on Monday. Can't help thinking if things would be alright finally or will things be the same for me yet again jinx in another position. However, I vow that I'll be obedient and disciplined in making sure the handover is detailed and will enable me in doing the job well.

2nd day of puasa and all is well *proud* My so called friend "gastric" has not stopped by. Im hoping he will come during Raya hehe Its good to see that we're eating in moderation and not many food is wasted. Alhamdulilah. Thinking what else to achieve this weekend except that I have to zoom to a meeting on Sat. Right now, all I am doing is counting the days before my brother goes back again to the UK *boring*

Oh..watched a suspense horror movie which is worth watching. Do get out and watch "1408" . A movie based on a terryfing story by Stephen King. I love his movies esp "The Shining". Quite terrified when I watched it (even with my brother haha) that I quit halfway last night BUT i did continue it this afternoon and it was not bad though I kept turning the volume up and down thinking I will be shocked by a sudden scary scene haha

Stumbled upon the Harley Davidson's Roadshow when I was going to have lunch in Ideal, OGDC. Even bought myself a souvenir that I felt was a bargain. A cool limited edition Pullover Hood Jacket which would do nice for the cold rainy days lately. Didnt expect myself to buy but it was well worth it. Wanted to post this earlier so that you all could drop by on Friday but the slow connection failed me. Plus i was busy the whole Weekend anyway. If you guys are interested in purchasing more of the merchandise and apparels or even the bike itself, they are located at the Lambak Kanan Industrial Estate West in Berakas.

One of the coolest part of the bike

The motorbikes lined up for the roadshow

Had my eyes on this white Motorbike..the colour is just awesome

The merchandise

this will be on my birthday wishlist..well, if its not from harley davidson but something like this, it would be alright. anyone? hehe

Happy 5 years anniversary to me!!! Its been 5 years since I last joined SSEAYP (Ship for South East Asian Youth Programme) as a representative for Brunei Darussalam on 7th September, 2002. Going down memory lane...flashbacks…I keep on smiling to myself as I remember the sweet and funny memories that I had during my days in SSEAYP. I even looked different back then. Well, slimmer to be exact haha When Nippon Maru came to Brunei in 2005, I just couldn’t believe that I would set foot onboard again. I had the weirdest feeling as I turn every nook and corner. I can’t even describe it but it was special. I even had goosebumps and tears were close to streaming out of my eyes as I set foot onboard with the smell inside of the ship being so distinctive. If you were a PY, you’d understand our feelings as to why it was so special. To commemorate our anniversary, please enjoy the pics I have scanned (Yes, Yes, we didn’t have digital camera back then in 2002 *hmph*)

To my SSEAYP family.. miss you all and wish you the best in everything wherever you are. Though we are a thousand miles apart around the world, we are still near in our hearts. Do take care

To my SG-F, a shout out to you all. Thanks for the updates through email. Do send more!! *mwahs*

To my 2002 BPYs, had a great time during our mini reunion when JPY Sachi came to Brunei. Glad to see some of you again. Really appreciate you guys spent some time in meeting up. Lets do it again sometime, to celebrate our 5 years anniversary and no excuses ah. Again, Happy Anniversary all.. Love ya lots! *Hugs*

Yay.. one more day to go and its the weekend. Though I doubt it that I'd get any rest again this weekend. Got a national day preview to go to on Saturday and then to a tahlil going through the night. The day after, a birthday party for my small cousin. All this in bandar... sian my car.. Im feeling so tired, cant wait to get into bed though this blog is getting my attention and its addictive. I like the touch ups here and there. Ada saja kan di buat. then when the bill comes *pengtan!*

Tomorrow's going to be a busy morning. Nope, not for work. TO EAT!!! Going to have a pot-luck makan session for the dept before puasa kicks in. Why is it that as puasa approaches, everyone keeps eating??? Ada saja kan di makan... How am I going to prepare my stomach for puasa if I keep seeing food everywhere hehe Im hoping to be strong for puasa this year. Im hoping my so called friend, GASTRIC, wont be stopping by to say hello. Mind you, im not kidding about my gastric. So its eat eat eat for tomorrow..

Congratulations to my childhood friend Ediana and Sanusi for their wedding Last Sunday, 2nd Sept. A very lovely and sweet couple. They are so made for each other. I would like to officiate my blog by posting their wedding photos that I took as my gift to them. Again, congratulations and may you both be blessed with continuous happiness, sincerity and love for each other. Will post the Berbedak pics and Ambil-Ambilan pics when I can. Probably during the week. Insyallah.
