Dear visitors, Memoirsofthe27th is on hold until further notice due to espeed not installed yet! I have been waiting for a month and still no news from Telbru. Feel like I've been robbed considering the fact that I have already paid a month's advance fee as a deposit. A phone call explaining why it is taking forever to be installed is very much appreciated THANK YOU!

Revised charges for E-Speed

This is confirmed:

There will be a Telbru eSpeed roadshow promotion starting tomorrow, 28th March til 6th March at the Mall, Gadong. The highlight of the roadshow will be an introduction to the newly revised amount for eSpeed which is now $68, instead of the usual $98 (Yes I know..now i want it too. Going to register but going to install lock on the computer so my siblings are not on the computer 24/7! haha) hmm where was I? Oh yes, the $68 would be for bandwidth of 512Kbps. Those who are still willing to go on the $98/month plan would be upgraded to 640Kbps. Oh, did I mention too that if you register for eSpeed $68 plan, you would get a free modem and registration fee waived with deposit of $68, a month's payment in advance.

Now..for the light users, there will be eSpeed Time plan that varies for you to choose from.

Lowest plan would be starting from $4.90. Free modem and registration would apply for e-speed time if the purchase is $39.90 and above.

SSEAYP 2008 Application Form

Youths who are interested to join the Ship for South East Asia Youth Programme (SSEAYP) 2008, the Application Form is now available at the Youth and Sports Department, 3rd Floor, Youth Section, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports at Spg 336-17, Jalan Kebangsaan, BC3915. Forms are also available at each district's Youth Centres.

For further information, please call 2381903 (Bandar), 5221718 (Temburong) , 3334938 (Belait) and 4222963 (Tutong)

Completed forms should be submitted by 31st March, 2008 4pm to the Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Several criterias needed to join:
*Aged 18-30years old, not married
*Completed Secondary years of education (Form 5)
*Active in youth activities/associations and committed for future youth activities
*Youths who are working in the govt/private sector must obtain permission to apply

Info about this year's programme:
The programme will run from 21st October until 11 December, 2008. A total of 52 days. The programme will start in Japan and berth at Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and then back to Japan.Purpose of the programme is to promote goodwill and understanding among ASEAN Countries and Japan while gaining understanding of several activities of different aspects such as way of life, culture, politics, etc.
